There is no such thing as a perfect nation. Every nation will always have her faults, yet it is good to know that nations are rising above prevailing challenges of socio-political, economic, ethno-religious and numerous other challenges ranging from climatic, health to natural disasters of various magnitude. Nations confronted with their peculiar challenges and disasters have always found smart ways to survive, and soon they figure out near perfect solutions to their existing issues until they cease to be components of complex compounding quagmires.
Nigeria is equally endowed with her own fair share of challenges and the truth remains that as much as the rest of the international community might express some willingness and readiness to come to our aid on these, we too must find a way around issues that nag us every day. We must at least show a will, rather than constantly decry the need for global assistance. Only this can legitimately earn us the respect of the nations.
